Unic Press UK: There was chaos Monday during a session of the House of Representatives Committee on NDDC investigating allegations of funds misappropriation/misapplication of ₦81.5 billion in the NDDC when the head of the interim management committee and acting Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Kemebradikumo Pondei, appeared to collapse while been interrogated.
It is still unclear if Pondei, a professor of medicine, actually became unconscious or feigned to be losing or have lost consciousness.
Our correspondent reports that the session abruptly ended when a question was being put to the NDDC boss by one of the Committee members’ and Pondei appeared to remove his glasses, and gradually rested his head on a table.
