Unic Press UK: The head of the interim management committee and acting Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Kemebradikumo Pondei, along with some of the commission’s staff walked out today in protest during a session of the House of Representatives Committee on NDDC investigating allegations of funds misappropriation/misapplication in the NDDC.
Just before he led his team to walk out in protest, Pondei, a professor of medicine, whose team is also accused of failing to submit financial reports to the auditor general of the Federation, did address the House of Representatives Committee, alleging that the Committee’s chairman Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo (APC-Akoko North East/North West) is an interested party in the matter.
