Unic Press UK: The Iranian-flagged tanker named ‘Fortune’ successfully berthed at the El Palito port on Venezuela’s northern coast, where it would unload gasoline to help in alleviating the scarcity of the product.

Fortune is the first of the five oil tankers to arrive Venezuelan waters since departing Iran some weeks ago. The Venezuelan Navy met/escorted Fortune as soon as it arrived the country’s Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ).
Four other Iranian tankers, the Clavel,’ the ‘Forest,’ the ‘Faxon’, and the ‘Petunia’, are heading to Venezuela.

Venezuela sits on the largest oil reserve in the world, but, currently facing severe economic challenges due to U.S. sanctions.
