Unic Press UK: The London Police arrested Saturday, 19 people in the Hyde Park area for inadvertently breaking the COVID-19 protocol related to social distancing.
Though a group of less than 100 had converged in central London’s Hyde Park protesting the UK Government’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic, it appears only a few failed to comply with repeated requests by the police to disperse/leave the area.
“Whilst the majority of the people that officers have spoken with today have accepted guidance, a small number of people in the Hyde Park area, who were intent to flout Government advice, and failed to comply with a request to disperse, were arrested. Officers once again, took a measured approach and tried to engage the group to disperse. They clearly had no intention of doing so, and so it did result in 19 people being arrested, and a further ten being issued with a fixed penalty notice” the Metropolitan Police said.
The protesters say no to coronavirus Bill, no to mandatory vaccines, and no to “unlawful” lockdown.
