COVID-19: Brazil Is Facing ‘Economic Collapse’ Over Lockdown – Minister Of Economy

Unic Press UK: Brazil, the Latin America’s biggest economy at this moment, is likely to face an economic meltdown over measures, including lockdown, that are being enforced to contain the spread of COVID-19, the country’s Minister of Economy, Paulo Guedes, said.

The Brazilian Government is preaching against further lockdown. However, the country’s Supreme Court ruled that both the state and local authorities have the right to determine COVID-19 protocols, including the social distancing measures to apply to contain the spread of this disease.
