Unic Press UK: Nigeria is in receipt of circa $300m (£241m), being funds returned from the United States and the British dependency of Jersey in respect of the proceeds of theft laundered by a dictator and the former Nigerian head of state, General Sani Abacha (d. 1998).
In a report ‘stolen millions are returned to Nigeria’ the BBC said Monday the money is expected to be utilized on infrastructure projects in accord with a repatriation agreement.
