Unic Press UK: United States Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo, has reiterated that SARS-CoV-2, the coronavirus that caused COVID-19 pandemic, was created in a biomedical laboratory in Wuhan, China.
“I can tell you that there is a significant amount of evidence that this came from that laboratory in Wuhan,” Pompeo told ABC’s “This Week” Sunday.
In one of its responses to the allegation that the virus is man-made in a lab in Wuhan, the Chinese authorities accused the U.S. of bullying.
“Like the rest of the world, China is a victim of the pandemic, not an accomplice with the virus. There are neither rational nor legal grounds for U.S. politicians’ accusations regarding China’s response. It is only an absurd claim featuring typical U.S. bullying,” Xinhua News Agency reported Saturday.
