Unic Press UK: The World Health Organization announced Tuesday that the official name for the disease caused by the new coronavirus is Covid-19.
As of this moment, the report issued by the Chinese authorities is that, in Hubei – a province in central China and the epicenter of the outbreak of coronavirus – “there are 1,638 new cases of novel coronavirus pneumonia on Feb 11, with 94 new deaths and 417 cases of recovery. The total number of infections in the province climbed to 33,366, with 1,068 deaths and 2,639 cases of recovery.”

The Chinese government continues its efforts at controlling this highly contagious disease, Covid-19, with restrictions on movement within the country – shuttering some provincial highways and intercity high speed rail, tightened control of entry and exit to villages and townships across the country, and restricting movement within some cities and municipalities.
