Unic Press UK: The United States President Donald Trump says his government will no longer deal with the UK ambassador Sir Kim Darroch after a series of leaked diplomatic cables, in which, Darroch impugned Trump, describing the president as ‘inept’, ‘insecure’ and ‘incompetent’, was published by the Mail on Sunday.
In a memo sent on June 22, Sir Kim described the U.S.-Iran policy as ‘incoherent, chaotic,’ saying that “it’s unlikely that US policy on Iran is going to become more coherent any time soon. This is a divided Administration,’ the Mail on Sunday said.
Darroch, who has been and is still the British Ambassador to Washington since January 2016, further wrote: ‘As seen from here, we really don’t believe that this Administration is going to become substantially more normal; less dysfunctional, less unpredictable, less faction-riven, less diplomatically clumsy and inept,’ says the Mail on Sunday.
Reacting to the Darroch’s scathing description of the present U.S. administration, President Trump said “we will no longer deal with him,” and this could be interpreted as the U.S. saying that the UK ambassador is a persona non grata.
I have been very critical about the way the U.K. and Prime Minister Theresa May handled Brexit. What a mess she and her representatives have created. I told her how it should be done, but she decided to go another way. I do not know the Ambassador, but he is not liked or well….

….thought of within the U.S. We will no longer deal with him. The good news for the wonderful United Kingdom is that they will soon have a new Prime Minister. While I thoroughly enjoyed the magnificent State Visit last month, it was the Queen who I was most impressed with!
