Liverpool Stun Barcelona, 4-0 To Qualify For Champions League Final 2019

Unic Press UK: Liverpool FC is in the final of the Champions League 2019 after overturning the 3-0 first leg defeat last week in Spain. With today’s result, the aggregate score is 4-3; and Barcelona is now out of the Champions League 2019 edition.

The four goals by Liverpool were scored by two players’ Origi (7′minutes79′minutes) and Wijnaldum (54′minutes56′minutes).

It’s an unbelievable comeback against a Barcelona team captained by one of the greatest players of his generation Lionel Messi.

Liverpool is the second English team to reach back-to-back Champions League finals since Manchester United feat of 2008 and 2009.

“The whole game was too much. Winning is difficult but with a clean sheet, I don’t know how they did it. It means so much to all of us. There are more important things in the world. But creating this emotional atmosphere together is so special. It’s all about the players. The mix of potential and unbelievable heart is just a mix I never saw before. It shows what’s possible in football. It’s so nice,” the Liverpool Manager, Jurgen Klopp stated during an interview with BT Sports.

The outcome of the semi-final match tomorrow between Ajax and Tottenham Hotspur would determine the team to play Liverpool in the final at Wanda Metropolitano Stadium, Madrid, Spain on Saturday, 1 June 2019
