U.S. Responds To Iran’s Video/Recording Of U.S Aircraft Carrier In Persian Gulf

Unic Press UK: The United States has reacted to the high definition (HD) footage released by the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) of Iran in which a U.S. nuclear-powered aircraft carrier would closely observed in the Persian Gulf waters, south of Iran, saying that it “appears to be several years old, and of the last deployment to the Arabian Gulf by the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69).”

It was on Saturday that the Tasnim news agency published a report ‘IRGC HD Video Shows US Aircraft Carrier in Persian Gulf’ and a video of the footage.

“The footage was recorded from such a small distance that the numbers on the wings of E-2C reconnaissance planes and F-18 fighter jets on deck are easily distinguishable. Iranian graphic designers even captioned some of the aircraft in the video,” the RT wrote Sunday.

The U.S. and Iran have be on with tit-for-tat for a while over national interests and strategic interests in the Middle East.

Very recently, on April 8, 2019 the United States declared/designated the IRGC as a foreign “terrorist organization.” And the Islamic country Iran responded through its Supreme National Security Council by proclaiming the United States Central Command (CENCOM) – a theater-level Unified Combatant Command of the U.S. Department of Defense – a terror organisation.
