INEC Officials Collaborate Atiku, Saying Election Results Transmitted Electronically

Unic Press UK: The case before the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal in which the presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar is praying the Tribunal to declare him (Atiku) winner of the Nigeria Presidential Election 2019 has taken another serious twist following the disclosure by the legal team of Atiku that many officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) have sworn affidavits that the election results were transmitted electronically.

“In a response to INEC’s denial of the server and its purported result, Mr Abubakar’s legal team attached affidavits from 12 persons they said worked for INEC, the Premium Times reported Monday.

The presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar filed a petition on March 2019, claiming that, based on the records on the INEC’s server as of February 25, 2019, he won the Nigeria Presidential Election 2019 with 18,356,732 votes when compared to the 16,741,430 votes of Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
