Unic Press UK: A federal high court sitting in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja has issued a warrant for the arrest of a former Minister of Petroleum, Dan Etete and a former Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Mohammed Adoke over the Malabu oil block scandal, the News Agency of Nigeria reports.
Judge Danlami Z. Senchi issued the warrant on April 17, 2019 with regard to the prosecution of the duo Etete and Adoke, Casula Roberto, Pujato Stefeno, Raph Wetzels, Burrato Sebastiano and others, who had repeatedly failed to appear before the court in a case being prosecuted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC)
The case was adjourned to July 11, 2019.
