Unic Press UK: A Federal High Court sitting in Jalingo Judicial Division in Taraba State of Nigeria has disqualified Sani Abubakar Danladi, who, hitherto, was the All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial candidate for the Taraba State Governorship Election 2019.
In a judgement delivered Wednesday, Judge S.D. Pam reached the decision that Danladi had provided false information about his age, saying: The first defendant, Danladi is “hereby disqualified from contesting election as the candidate of the second defendant (APC),” the Premium Times of Nigeria reported.
The Governorship and State House of Assembly and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Area Council Elections is to hold on March 9, 2019.
