Presidential & National Assembly Elections Holds Today In Nigeria:

Unic Press UK: Nigerians are voting today, February 23, 2019 in the Presidential and National Assembly elections that would culminate in the election of a president and members of the National Assembly – Senators and members of the House of Representatives.

In the case of the Presidential Election, the battle is between the incumbent president, Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressive Congress (APC) and the leading opposition party People’s Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar.

The initial date fixed for the Presidential and National Assembly elections was February 16, 2019, but the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) rescheduled to February 23 having observed massive lapses in its implementation of the logistics and operational plan.

The Governorship and State House of Assembly and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Area Council Elections is to hold on March 9, 2019.
