Unic Press UK: A High Court of Justice sitting in Kaduna State of Nigeria has issued a warrant for the arrest of the Chairman of Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB) Muhammed Isah over contempt of court.
The warrant, which compels the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) to arrest Isah, and bring him to the High Court on Wednesday, the February 13, 2019, is based on the CCB chairman ignoring an order of the High Court of Justice – in an ongoing suit between the Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai and Today’s publishing Company Limited (the publisher of The Union Newspapers), and another – to tender the assets declaration of El-Rufai, the Nigeria Lawyer wrote.
