Unic Press UK: Russia has expelled a Swedish diplomat based/working in Moscow after Stockholm rejected two applications of the Russian government for diplomatic visas, the Swedish newspaper Expressen reported.
The full details are not yet known, but the Sputnik news agency said that it received a message from the Russian foreign ministry, which reads:
“The Swedish Foreign Ministry announced it had refused to satisfy Russian applications for diplomatic visas. And Russia responded to this by asking a diplomat at the Swedish Embassy in Moscow to leave the country. The Swedish Foreign Ministry regrets the decision of Russia.”
