Unic Press UK: The commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps’ Aerospace Force, Brigadier General Amirali Hajizadeh said Wednesday during a televised TV program that U.S. military positions in the Middle East are within the striking reach of the Iranian military missiles, the Tasnim News Agency reported.
“We have traveled for 34 years to this day. We did a lot of work in the missile field from the past. For ten years, we had arrived at a variety of missiles, but we had not gotten the required precision. . . Al-Adid’s bases are less than 300 km long and Kandahar is 400 km away. These bases are meat under our teeth and we shake them. The same is true of the sea. Today we arrive at missiles that have a range of 700 kilometers, which can be used in the Oman Sea, and US aircraft carriers. . . “
Hajizadeh explained further on the growing military prowess of Iran by making a reference to its drone systems and the capture of an American Lockheed Martin RQ-170 Sentinel unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) in December 2011 by the drone intelligence of the Iranian military.
