No Meeting With Trump During UN General Assembly, Says Iranian President

Unic Press UK: Iranian President Hassan Rouhani says he would not hold talks with the United States President Donald Trump, accusing the U.S. leader of making hostile decisions against the Islamic Republic.

Speaking to journalist Monday in New York, United States, ahead of a high-level General Debate to commence Tuesday at the ongoing 73rd session of the UN General Assembly (UNGA 73), Rouhani said:

“Since last year, the U.S. president has withdrawn from a very important [nuclear] agreement [with Iran] for no reason and has imposed sanctions and threatened the Iranian people and these measures cannot be easily ignored. He has left the JCPOA without any reason, imposed sanctions and posed threats to the Iranian nation without any reason and has interfered in our internal affairs. Before any discussion, these incorrect measures should be redressed,” the Press TV reports.
