North/South Korea Hold Talks; Third Summit Most Likely

Unic Press UK: The Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) and the Republic of Korea (ROK) commenced talks Monday in Tongil Gak, hoping to agree a venue/date/time/ for a third summit between the DPRK Supreme leader Kim Jong Un and ROK President Moon Jae-in.

Both leaders met on April 27, 2018, in Panmunjom for the first summit for the year. The second summit was held on May 26, 2018, on the North Korean side of the truce village Panmunjom – a Demilitarized Zone separating the two countries.

During earlier talks this year, the two leaders Kim and Moon had pledged “no more war” and agreed to work towards “denuclearization” of the Korean Peninsula.
