Trump’s Offer Of Talks Is Mere PR Stunt: Iran

Unic Press UK: The Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Javad Zarif, says the United States recent proposal for fresh nuclear talks is nothing save a “publicity stunt.

Addressing an audience Monday in the capital city of Iran, Tehran, during a ceremony marking the National Journalists’ Day, Zarif Said:

“Who will believe that Trump wants to negotiate with Iran?. The hours of our negotiations with America were perhaps unprecedented in history; then Trump signs something and say all [those negotiations] are void; can you negotiate with this person? Is this [negotiations offer] anything but a publicity stunt?,” the Press TV reports.

On May 8, 2018, the United States President Donald Trump inked an Executive Order that ceased the U.S. participation in the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), also called the Iran Nuclear Deal, claiming that deal was bad for the world and America, insisting that a new deal is long overdue.

Today, a fresh U.S. sanctions against Iran comes into force by virtue of an Executive Order [‘Reimposing Certain Sanctions With Respect To Iran’] of August 6, 2018, which imposes a range of sanctions on Iran’s trade and financial transactions, Iran’s automotive, energy, shipping and petroleum sectors, and many others.

The U.S. government will not be doing business with those who who business with the Islamic Republic of Iran, says President Donald Trump.
