Unic Press UK: Victor Ndoma-Egba has been appointed secretary of the national convention committee of Nigeria’s current ruling party All Progressives Congress (APC) in relation to the party’s national convention scheduled to hold on June 23.
Ndoma-Egba appointment Friday, follows the resignation of Senator Benjamin Uwajumogu, the National Working Committee (NWC) of the APC said.

In a statement, the Senator’s principal secretary, Godson Amadikwa, denied insinuations that the decision of his boss to quit as the secretary of the national convention committee is related to his disagreement with the governor of his state of origin, Rochas Okorocha of Imo. He said: “The decision of his resignation was duly taken for personal reasons, tailored towards blighting fraying nerves and to advance the progress of APC in Imo State.”
