Unic Press UK: Pakistan has stopped a U.S. diplomat from leaving the country after being involved in a fatal traffic accident. The diplomat is alleged to have caused the death of a motorcyclist in April 2018 by driving through a red light.
A court in Islamabad, the capital city of Pakistan, had ruled that the diplomat named in the case can not lay claim to diplomatic immunity in the case of the April 7, 2018 traffic accident in which the U.S. official’s vehicle caused the death of of 22-year-old.
This fresh case adds to the torrid tensions between the United States and Pakistan, following President Trump’s tweet in January 2018; and ongoing tit-for-tat between the two countries after Pakistan vowed to restrict the latitude of all American diplomats in their country in response to a similar restriction placed on Pakistani embassy diplomats by the U.S.
The United States has foolishly given Pakistan more than 33 billion dollars in aid over the last 15 years, and they have given us nothing but lies & deceit, thinking of our leaders as fools. They give safe haven to the terrorists we hunt in Afghanistan, with little help. No more!

Also in January 2018, the U.S. government said it was suspending security aid to Pakistan for failing to take “decisive action” against the Taliban and the Haqqani network
