Kim Jong-Un Arrives Demilitarized Zone For Talks With South Korean President

Unic Press UK: Kim Jong-Un, the supreme leader of the Democratic Peoples Republic of Korea (popularly call North Korea) left the State’s capital, Pyongyang on Friday morning at an historical north-south summit in Panmunjom – a small thorpe village located in the demilitarized zone separating the two Koreans, where the North Koreans and South Korean signed the 1953 Korean Armistice Agreement during the Korean War.

In Panmunjom, the North Korean leader would hold talks with the South Korean President Moon Jae-In, aimed at a reunification of the Korean peninsula and hoping to cause detente and improve relations between the two neighbours.

Jong-Un and Jae-In would plant a memorial tree and be at a dinner to be hosted by the South Korean President, the news agency of North Korea known as Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) said.
