Unic Press UK: James Mattis, the United States Defense Secretary welcomed John Bolton, the country’s new National Security Adviser to the Pentagon on Thursday; jokingly call him ‘devil incarnate’.

Bolton: Mr Secretary, so good to see you. Thank you for inviting me over.

Mattis: Thanks for coming. It’s good to finally meet you. I’ve heard that you’re actually the devil incarnate and I wanted to meet you.”

Bolton comes across as a defense hawk, having advocated the use of military force to solve issues with the  the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea and the Islamic Republic of Iran.
