Unic Press UK: A mass burial of 73 people who were brutally murdered by nomadic herdsmen in Benue State, Nigeria, was held Thursday in Makurdi, the capital city of Benue.
It was on New Year’s Day, the 1st January 2018, that herdsmen suspected to be of the Fulani ethnic group, attacked communities in Benue State, Nigeria, killing many farmers and other locals in Guma local government area (LGA) and Logo LGA, Benue State, Nigeria.
In his initial reaction after the massacre by herdsmen on New Year’s Day, the Governor of Benue State, Sam Ortom, said: “The federal government and President Muhammadu Buhari must rise and give us protection to show that we are true citizens of this country.”
Though you were violently murdered, may your souls find peace my brothers and sisters…

With due respect to my very good Muslim friends, I find it quite sad & unfortunate that while Muslims in the name of Fulani herdsmen terrorists keep unleashing mayhem on innocent Nigerians, Muslim groups are only concerned about hijab-wearing & such other ephemeral issues
