China ‘Caught RED HANDED’ Trading Oil With North Korea – Donald Trump

Unic Press UK: United States president Donald Trump accused the People’s Republic of China of trading oil with the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (North Korea), saying that China collaborating with North Korea impedes the efforts being made towards solving the Korean Peninsula crisis.

China denies allegation

During a press conference Thursday, the spokesperson for the Ministry of National Defense (MND) of the People’s Republic of China (PRC), Senior Colonel Ren Guoqiang, was asked: “Can you tell us if the Chinese Navy, in particular, has been involved in enforcing sanctions against North Korea, specifically making sure that, for example, Chinese ships are not illegally selling oil to North Korean ships at sea?” he replied:

“China’s principled position on the Korean peninsula issue is very clear. We are committed to the denuclearization, peace and stability on the peninsula, as well as the resolution of issues through peaceful dialogue and consultation. The Chinese government and the military have always strictly implemented the relevant UN resolutions.”

In a unanimously adopted resolution, the United Nations Security Council on Friday, the 22nd December 2017, imposed further sanctions on the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) over the communist State’s missile/nuclear program.

The additional punitive measures approved by the 15-member Council includes that all UN Member States shall:

“prohibit the direct or indirect supply, sale or transfer to the DPRK of crude oil, refined petroleum products, and various types of equipment and raw materials…  “repatriate all DPRK nationals earning income in that Member State’s jurisdiction and all DPRK government safety oversight attachés monitoring DPRK workers abroad immediately but no later than 24 months,”unless the Member State determined that the national’s repatriation is prohibited under applicable national and international law, or if that national is a national of that Member State,” (UN News Centre: 22/12/2017)
