Unic Press UK: Sequel to former U.S. national security adviser Michael Flynn guilty plea on Friday, confessing that he had lied to the FBI about contacts with then-Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak, pledging to cooperate with prosecutors, President Donald Trump now claims that he fired Flynn “because he lied to the Vice President and the FBI.”
I had to fire General Flynn because he lied to the Vice President and the FBI. He has pled guilty to those lies. It is a shame because his actions during the transition were lawful. There was nothing to hide!

When questioned on Saturday on Flynn’s guilty plea, President Trump said: “What has been shown is no collusion, no collusion. There’s been absolutely no collusion, so we’re very happy. And frankly last night was one of the big nights.”
The news headlines are all about the guilty plea by Flynn and the prosecutors in the case seeming conclusion that several of Trump’s associates had vicarious contact’s with the then-Russian ambassador Sergey Kislyak, and that White House aide Jared Kushner, a notable member of the Trump transition team, might have directed Flynn to contact Russian authorities and several state actors to discuss a U.N. resolution on Israeli settlement. But, Trump raced to his usual norm, tweeting – perhaps trying to change the headlines toward a focus on Hillary Clinton.
So General Flynn lies to the FBI and his life is destroyed, while Crooked Hillary Clinton, on that now famous FBI holiday “interrogation” with no swearing in and no recording, lies many times…and nothing happens to her? Rigged system, or just a double standard?
