Unic Press UK: The UK Defense Secretary, Sir Michael Fallon, has resigned, saying “I accept that in the past I have fallen below the high standards that we require of the Armed Forces that I have the honour to represent” in a letter to the Prime Minister.

Michael Fallon’s resignation comes a day after his spokesman revealed that his boss was once rebuked by a journalist, Julia Hartley-Brewer, for putting his hand on her knee during a dinner in 2002, the BBC reports.
