Unic Press UK: On Saturday, the 12th August, hundreds of white nationalism promoters who had conveyed in Charlottesville, Virginia, for “Unite the Right” march, clashed with opposition groups, causing minor/major injuries to several people and killing at least one person.
The march by hundreds of white nationalists was called to protest the removal of a statue of one of the generals who had espoused the pro-slavery Confederacy during the United States Civil War.
The far-right extremists comprising the members of the Ku Klux Klan (KKK) and neo-Nazis adherents clashed with opposition groups.
A man, James Fields, 20-years-old, is believed to be the person who rammed a vehicle into the crowd during the chaos [“Unite the Right” march] in Charlottesville, thereby killing a woman and leaving several others injured.

In a tweet today, the UK Prime Minister Theresa May condemned the “Unite the Right” march by White nationalists.

President Trump’s daughter Ivanka Trump and several prominent American politicians have criticized the march by White supremacist, including the former Vice President of the United States, Joe Biden, and a presidential aspirant in U.S. 2016 election Bernie Sanders.
