FBI Director James Comey had announced on the 28th October 2016 [less than two weeks’ to the U.S. presidential election] that a review of the emails became necessary in the light of recent findings.
On the 6th November 2016, that is, two days to the election, the FBI reached a conclusion that the review did not alter its earlier report.
Hillary Clinton insists that the FBI contributed to the outcome of the 2016 presidential election, which the Democrats lost.
