Names Of Freed Chibok Girls’ Made Public By FG

Unic Press UK: The names of the “Chibok girls'” who were recently freed by their captors, the Boko Haram terror group, have been announced by the Federal Government of Nigeria.

In a response to the public demand on whether the freed Chibok girls’ were released in exchange for some of the members of the Boko Haram group, the Presidency Office of Digital Communication said:

“President has repeatedly expressed his openness to a swap. If indeed swap happened FGN has no reason to conceal it. But no swap took place.”

List of the Chibok girls who were released as confirmed by the Presidency Office of Digital Communication:

Popularly known as the “Chibok girls’”, the list above included those who were taken hostage by Boko Haram, an Islamist militant group, on April 2014, in Chibok, Borno state, northeast of Nigeria.
