Unic Press UK: Jamaica’s Usain Bolt has successfully defended his 100 metres Olympic Games title with a 9.81 seconds run in the final at the ongoing 2016 Rio Olympic Games.
Bolt is the undisputed king of sprinting being the first person in global history to win the Olympics 100 metres gold medal at three consecutive games, viz.,
- Rio 2016 – 9.81 seconds on the 15th August 2016.
- London 2012 – 9.63 seconds on the 5th August 2012.
- Beijing 2008 – 9.69 seconds on the 16th August 2008.
In the second place, sliver medallist, was America’s Justin Gatlin who recorded 9.89 seconds.
The third position, bronze medallist, was a Canadian named Andre de Grasse who pulled 9.91 seconds.
