Unic Press UK: Femi Fani-Kayode, Director of Media and Publicity of Peoples Democratic Party Presidential Campaign Organisation, has alleged that the statement of result presented to Nigerians through the media by Muhammadu Buhari, APC presidential candidate, is the outcome of forgery.
Fani-Kayode said:
“We do not know who the authors and masterminds of this forgery are but whoever they are, we urge them to come forward and be identified…If they fail to come forward voluntarily, we hereby call on the police and other security agencies to seek them out, find them, arrest them, interrogate them, and prosecute them, in accordance with the laws of the land”.
He called on Buhari to do the needful by reporting to and submitting himself to the Nigerian police for proper interrogation on serious allegations, including perjury and forgery.
Fani-Kayode warned that perjury is still a criminal offense. He insists that Buhari must submit himself to the Police having lied on oath by claiming that his certificates were in military custody.
